Viet Tien Garment Company, which currently exports garments to more than 20 countries, will open new outlets in six Asian countries – China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore and Thailand, Bui Van Tien, General Director of the company has said.
Mr. Tien added that the company will also promote Viet Tien trade mark in the Asian markets.
Outlining the company's new strategy, Mr. Tien said the company plans to restructure its export markets and distribution channels to reduce the risks associated with too much dependency on a single market.
He said the company aims to export 29 percent of its garment items to the EU nations, 25 percent each to Japan and the US, and the remaining 21 percent to other markets.
