Urs Rouette to take care of OLYMP's Production/Procurement

The former Technical Director of OLYMP Bezner GmbH & Co. KG in Bietigheim-Bissingen (Baden-Württemberg), graduate economist Andreas Kövener (47), is relocating to the knitwear manufacturer MÄRZ München GmbH & Co KG, part of the OLYMP-Bezner group of compa-nies, as Head of Supply Chain Management.

He is to be succeeded by the textile engineer Urs Konstantin Rouette (40), who, as Director of Production and Procurement, will be responsible for these areas at the leading shirt producer's premises as of 1 April 2012.

After two-and-a-half years as Technical Director at the Bietigheim-Bissingen shirt manufacturer, OLYMP, Andreas Kövener is relocating back to Bavaria for family reasons. From 1 May 2012 he will take on the role of Supply Chain Manager for the manufacture of premium quality knitwear and knit-ted goods at MÄRZ München GmbH & Co. KG in München-Neuperlach.

After completing a two-year training period to become an industrial clerk at Schneberger GmbH in Münster (North Rhine-Westphalia), the native Westphalian studied Economic Sciences part-time from 1987 to 1994 at the distance-learning-based FernUniversität in Hagen, completing his studies with a degree in economics.

Via two stints at Schneberger GmbH and Anton Spahn GmbH & Co. in Nordkirchen, he joined M. Lange & Co. GmbH Munich (Bavaria) as departmental head of outward processing/logistics, where he stayed until mid-2009. After that, he occupied the managing position for procurement and production at OLYMP, which he held throughout the rapid growth phase of the company until March 2012. This is the role he will carry out again in future at MÄRZ in Munich.

Urs Konstantin Rouette comes from Aachen (North Rhine-Westphalia) and, after studying for his uni-versity entrance certificate (the “Abitur”) from 1991 to 1993, completed a craft apprenticeship to be-come a dyer at the Wilhelm Becker cloth mill in Aachen. He then went on to study textile technology, majoring in textile finishing, at the Hochschule Niederrhein (HSNR) in Mönchengladbach from 1993 to 1997. He wrote his final dissertation at Bayer AG in Leverkusen.

Thereafter, he was employed from 1997 to mid-2001 at Sucker-Müller-Hacoba GmbH & Co. (Moe-nus) in Mönchengladbach, before he moved in 2003 to DyStar Textilfarben GmbH & Co.

Deutschland KG in Frankfurt am Main as a sales engineer for dry finishing machines. This was then followed by several years' working at Heinrich Katt GmbH & Co. KG in Oldenburg as Head of Purchasing and Marketing. From mid-2007 he was employed as Head of Production and Logistics at Schöffel Sport-bekleidung GmbH in Schwabmünchen (Bavaria). He will take up his new position as Director for Pro-duction and Procurement at OLYMP Bezner GmbH & Co. KG as of 1 April 2012.
