UK's Monsoon Accessorize plans expansion in the US

In order to speed up its US expansion, UK-based fashion retailer Monsoon Accessorize has sold its US Accessorize retail business license to Retail Group of America (RGA), a subsidiary of Fawaz A. Alhokair & Co.
Through the new association, the retailer intends to speed up its expansion in the US, where it operates seven Accessorize outlets, but not a single one for its sister concern Monsoon.
Following the new association, RGA, which already holds franchisee for the retailer's Middle East business, intends to grow the number of Accessorize outlets in premium shopping locations to more than thirty over the next three months across the US.
Peter Simon, Founder of Monsoon Accessorize, said the sale of the US Accessorize stores license to RGA is a positive step towards increasing the number of brand outlets and raising awareness for the brand.
He said the expansion in the US is a mode of enhancing the brand's overseas presence.
Monsoon Accessorize would also be relaunching its website in the US, incorporating the Monsoon brand.
