Gymboree, a popular US children's apparel label, will open its first Oman outlet in the newly-opened Muscat Grand Mall next month.
The brand launched its first outlet in Dubai last year, and is now expanding its network across the Gulf, in partnership with Azadea G, a fashion arm of Lebanese retail major Azeda Group Holding.
The Beirut-based Azadea Group has signed an agreement with the Muscat Grand Mall for launching the Gymboree store. The deal also marks Azadea Group's entry into the Sultanate of Oman.
Hassan Jaboub, General Manager of Muscat Grand Mall, said preparations for the launch of Gymboree showroom in the mall are going on in full swing. He added that they would continue with their efforts to bring more world class retail brands to Oman.
With a rich retail portfolio incorporating over 30 international brands like Pull and Bear, Mango, Stradivarius and Maxmara, Azadea Group operates 350 outlets across the Middle East.
Azadea Group Holding CEO, Said Daher, said he is confident that the chain presenting a combination of quality and fashion in children's apparel would succeed in attracting Oman customers.
Gymboree, which engages in the sale of apparel and accessories for newborns to up to 12-year-olds, runs over 630 retail outlets in its key US and Canada markets.
