Every February and August, the fashion industry converges on Las Vegas for the most influential event in the business – MAGIC. Connecting and inspiring the international community, MAGIC functions as an incubator of fashion, providing a platform for new trends to surface and transform into what will be seen on the consumer.
International Trade Administration informed that the U.S. Department of Commerce and MAGIC are hosting a MADE IN THE AMERICAS Pavilion that highlights the United States and Western Hemisphere supply chain network. The Pavilion will showcase apparel, footwear, fabric, home textiles and yarn mills, trims & component suppliers, and related service providers.
National Council of Textile Organizations (NCTO) and United States Association of Importers of Textiles and Apparel (USA-ITA) are working with the U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC) and the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) and the MAGIC Show organizers on a special program to highlight the region and its capabilities during the MAGIC's August event.
“We have seen attendance increase 14% and exhibitors increase over 39% in the last three years,” said Thomas Florio, CEO of Advanstar Fashion Group. Adding, “Fashion at MAGIC is big business. Fashion is also a creative process and the new staggered schedule allows the industry more time to interact on multiple levels.”
