Jones explosive speed and power on the track has earned her a spot as a brakeman on the U.S. national bobsled team, recently winning a gold medal in the mixed team event at the 2013 World Championships. At the 2012 London Olympics, Jones placed fourth in the 100-meter hurdles.

Looking ahead, Jones intends to return to the track this spring in the 100-meter hurdles and bobsled next fall. Next up on her race schedule is Drake Relays April 24-28, 2013 in her hometown of Des Moines, Iowa.

A 2004 graduate of Louisiana State University, Jones won three NCAA titles and garnered 11 All-American honors while at the university. Among her many professional achievements, she won indoor national titles in 2007, 2008 and 2009 in the 60-meter hurdles, gold medals at the World Indoor Championship in 2008 and 2010, and a silver medal at the 2008 World Athletics Final. She currently resides in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
