After six months of construction, Alliance One Apparel Co Ltd has started operating its US $18.1 million apparel plant officially at Giao Long Industrial Zone of Ben Tre province.
This unit has the annual production capacity of 16.5 million products and the company plans to export entire output to world's well-known sports fashion giants including Nike and Adidas. By adopting this policy, Company hopes to earn around $80.3 million each year.
Alliance Apparel is one of several Thailand invested garment companies at Giao Long Industrial Zone and is the largest foreign – invested project.
Early this August, several delegations from Thailand visited the province looking to further invest in textile and apparel sector.
