TT Ltd, the well-known Delhi based undergarments and apparels brand is mulling to expand its exclusive retail chain, along with which it plans to introduce new ranges in the premium segment for kidswear and womenswear women in order to touch a total turnover of Rs 3.5 billion in the current fiscal year (2009-2010).

As part of the initiative TT will focus is on its premium brand 'Coco Tree' and will roll-out the entire range for ladies and kids by March in the undergarments category and with regards to garments it will launch a special range of premium casual wear like T-shirts and pyjamas.

Giving details to Fibre2fashion, Mr Sanjay Jain, Joint Managing Director of the company said, “We plan to roll out another 50 exclusive TT shops in the next one year and reach a figure of 200 in the next 3 years. Currently we have opened shops in NCR and UP and Bihar. This year we shall stay focused on these regions and from next year would expand to other parts of India.

“Our concept is to make available in the neighborhood the basic inner and casual wear requirements for customers. The shops would be strategically located in each residential area of a city and would be between 200 and 400 sq ft, which would provide an attractive entrepreneurial option for middle class salaried people and retired people to be their own master.

“We expect to reach out to the masses directly and provide a complete solution to the basic garmenting needs of a family, which in turn would provide a strong marketing/distribution backbone to the company and reduce its dependence on the intermediaries who are not focused to any particular brand due to the clutter of brands and intense competition amongst them.”

He added by saying that, “I would also like to add that the expected company turnover for FY 2010 is Rs 3.5 billion. We are vertically integrated cotton textiles player and have a unique USP of being present across the whole value chain from raw cotton to garments, which provides us an added advantage on both the quality and cost front which other competitors do not enjoy.”
