Washingtonian Magazine named CustomInk one of its 55 'Great Places to Work' in the Washington, DC area.

The magazine extended the honor to CustomInk after surveying over 200 companies throughout the Washington DC region.

The company was highlighted by the magazine for its casual, yet results-oriented work environment.

'The recognition from the Washingtonian Magazine is an honor,' said Allyson Ayers, Team Development Coordinator at CustomInk.

'They strive to hire great people and provide them an empowering work environment.

While 'Free Lunch Fridays' and 'Riddle Tuesdays' are fun for everyone, He believe what really makes their team members happy is that everyone is empowered to do what is right for their customers.

There's no better job than one where you are making customers happy!'

The custom apparel company houses over ninety team members in a Tyson's Corner office, and the expansion continues.

In 2005, CustomInk added dozens of production artists, sales and service representatives, e-commerce software engineers and others in administrative and marketing roles, and the company expects to continue growing in these areas in the coming year.

CustomInk has kept its core values in focus since its inception in March of 2000.

The 'Golden Rule,' where customers, partners, and team members are treated the way they would all like to be treated, guides the company at all levels.

The other two core values--ownership and innovation--also influence decisions on a daily basis.
