Jaclyn, Inc. reported financial results for the second quarter ended August 31, 2010.
Net sales for the three-month period ended August 31, 2010 were $43,169,000 compared to $50,207,000 for the three-month period ended August 31, 2009. The Company reported a second quarter net loss of $110,000, or $.04 per diluted share, compared to net earnings of $645,000, or $.28 per diluted share, in last year's comparable quarter.
Net sales for the six-month period ended August 31, 2010 were $78,708,000 compared to $85,613,000 for the same period last year. Net loss for the six-month period ended August 31, 2010 was $319,000, or $.13 per diluted share, compared to net earnings of $1,046,000, or $.46 per diluted share, in the same six-month period last year.
Jaclyn, Inc. is a designer, manufacturer and marketer of apparel, women's sleepwear, infants' and children's apparel, handbags, premium incentives and related accessories.
