Outlast Technologies, leader in heat management and moisture reduction technology, announces new licensee Jockey International, Inc. has launched an innovative line of undergarments: Jockey staycool. Outlast technology is utilized in the Jockey staycool products for men and women, which regulate skin temperature and help to keep the wearer feeling cool and comfortable all day long.
Outlast technology uses phase change materials (PCMs) that absorb, store and release excess heat to maintain optimal external body temperature. Outlast technology in the Jockey staycool fabric creates a microclimate of comfort between the skin and the garment to help manage heat and regulate temperature. Jockey is the first company to market both women's and men's underwear treated with Outlast technology to the U.S. market.
“Early feedback to the Jockey staycool line has been phenomenal—customers and retailers alike appreciate the true benefit of comfort offered through heat management,” says Heather Manuel, Outlast North America sales and marketing director. “This partnership with Jockey allows Outlast to expand its consumer reach via distribution in top retail outlets nationwide. Now everyone can feel the Outlast difference.”
Outlast Technologies Inc, a privately held U.S. corporation, is the worldwide leader in phase change materials and applications. Outlast technology is the heat management technology originally developed for NASA that enables any textile to absorb, store and release heat.
