Taiwanese textile major Far Eastern New Century has completed its expansion project in Vietnam, which will manufacture 6,000 tons of knitted fabrics per year. Another expansion in its garment unit in Vietnam will see production expand by one million dozen garments per year, and which is expected to start production by the first half of 2017.
"The Taiwanese company has earmarked investments of $760 million in Vietnam, to be spent over a period of three years, which will boost production of both, fabrics and garments," Taiwanese media reported. (AR)
