The chief of the Turkish Leather Garment Manufacturers Association (TDKD), Mr Ramazan Hazar said that there was immense scope to increase leather sales to Russia and that Turkish leather goods would be promoted in various fashion capitals of the world.
The head of TDKD was optimistic that leather exports had the scope to increase by as much as 50 percent if the trade between the two countries was permitted and done in the national currencies of both the countries.
To promote leather exports to Russia, which he considered one of the key markets of the Turkish leather industry, the sector in Turkey could get together in an organised way and promote and exploit the market potential of Russia.
