WILMINGTON, Mass., Aug. 07, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) UniFirst Corporation (NYSE:UNF), a leading supplier and servicer of uniforms, workwear, and protective clothing throughout North America, has been named No. 18 in America’s top 50 apparel companies by Apparel magazine, a leading international resource for the global apparel industry. This is the eleventh consecutive year the company was recognized by the magazine.

Adam Soreff, UniFirst’s director of marketing and communications, says that UniFirst’s annual success is a great achievement given today’s ongoing market and competitive challenges. “We’re all extremely proud of our team’s efforts throughout the U.S. and Canada to deliver service satisfaction to our 300,000 business customers and maintain a steady course for continuous growth year after year.” He continued, “So much of what we do revolves around our strong customer relationships and the commitment we have companywide to providing exceptional customer service in an ever-changing market.”

“UniFirst continues to rank highly on our top 50 list year after year,” says Jordan Speer, Apparel magazine editor-in-chief. “This reflects the organization’s ability to perform financially as a result of focusing on customer needs and adapting to challenges in the marketplace.”

The Apparel magazine honor coincides with other recent honors for UniFirst—being named to Selling Power magazine’s “Best Companies to Sell For” list and Florida Trend magazine’s “Best Companies To Work For” list.
