DLF Shopping Malls has joined hands with Uber to offer riders a hassle free and convenient commute experience across its portfolio including DLF Promenade, DLF Mall of India, DLF Place Saket and Cyber Hub. The malls will host Uber Experience zones to facilitate booking Uber cabs for non–users, giving them a hassle-free ride back home more conveniently.

Furthermore, Uber will set up venues across all properties which will be mapped on Uber to provide better pickup experience for the ride, reducing the wait time for riders.

DLF Shopping Malls continues to place the guests at the centre of its strategy and operations. The brand delivers on its commitment to offer a holistic retail and entertainment experience as it once again collaborates with Uber Cabs to offer every guest a hassle free and convenient commute experience. The collaboration is an attempt to offer guests the signature DLF Shopping Malls experience, beyond the confines of the malls.

As part of the collaboration, there will be Uber Pick-up and experience Zones at the malls with attractive offers on UberGo for the next six months.

Harshavardhan Chauhan, central head of marketing at DLF shopping malls, said, “We are committed to offer a holistic experience to all our guests that extends well beyond a transactional relationship of simply offering the widest range of brands under one roof. We want every guest to feel special and well taken care of. Customer experience is our biggest competitive advantage and this collaboration with Uber is an important step in taking that consumer experience to the next well. Our last collaboration with Uber led to a substantial increase in footfalls to all our malls, inspiring us to collaborate once again with more facilities and options to make the travel experience truly seamless for our guests, irrespective of whether they have the app or not.”

Prabhjeet Singh, regional general manager, Uber India and South Asia said, “During our previous partnership with DLF Shopping Malls, we witnessed a higher growth percentage in the number of rides to DLF properties as against the city average. Therefore, we are excited to once again collaborate with India’s premier retail destination - DLF Shopping Malls, to leverage our robust network and provide a convenient and reliable travel option, at an affordable price, to Uber riders visiting the mall. We believe ridesharing technologies like Uber can incentivise shared mobility, thereby taking the stress out of parking hassles and private car ownership and simplify your shopping experience.”

DLF Shopping Malls has consistently disrupted the retail ecosystem in the country to create new benchmarks and standards with regards to delivering a holistic consumer experience and with this new six month long Uber collaboration, DLF Shopping Malls, has successfully addressed a critical concern that impacts most guests as they commute to and from the malls and Cyberhub.
