Jabong shows global labels at India Kids FW, Delhi

Indian e-commerce site Jabong showcased Spring/Summer 2015 pieces from its global label offerings at the Delhi instalment of India Kids Fashion Week (IKFW), a runway platform aimed to encourage the country’s burgeoning childrenswear market.

The retailer, who was also one of the associate sponsors of the event, featured everyday clothing for kindergarten, school, sports and holiday purposes from its recently added international brand Fox Kids.

The show highlighted a stylized floral and lace accented high summer collection from Elle Kids and a Middle America-inspired line by Tommy Hilfiger Kids. The online store’s own brand Evolve presented Indo-westernwear and party dresses in bright hues.

Commenting on the association with IKFW, Arun Chandra Mohan, founder and CEO of Jabong said in a press communication, “This is our first association with the India Kids Fashion Week and response is overwhelming.”

Shibani Kashyap, singer and parade showstopper, said, “Online shopping is the buzzword today and I believe Jabong is doing a great job by making fashion accessible to everyone. The website has all my favourite brands and I have the convenience to shop from the comfort of my own room.” (PB)
