Next appoints Tom Hall non-executive director

Next plc, a clothing and footwear retailer, has announced the appointment of Tom Hall as a non-executive director with effect from July 13, 2020. Hall joined Apax Partners, a private equity firm, in 1998 and leads their consumer investing activities in Europe. In that role, Hall serves on the advisory board of Takko Fashion, a value fashion retailer.
Hall also serves to the supervisory board of Wehkamp, a Dutch online retailer of fashion, electronics and home & garden products, and as a non-executive director of Matchfashion, a global luxury retailer.
Hall was a board member of Auto Trader Group plc following its successful IPO in 2015 until 2016, having led Apax's investment in the business in 2007. He also served on the board of Ascential plc in 2016 and SouFun Holdings Ltd from 2010 until 2015.
Prior to joining Apax, Hall worked at SG Warburg and Deutsche Bank.
