"We have designed fabrics that are very appealing to the younger generation. We have also gone for brighter colours such as light navy blue that are trending upwards in the industry. With regards to technology, we have designed our products that are lightweight, yet they are wool-rich in order to have a finer finish and lustre. This is very appealing to any consumer. We have also designed many fabrics that are 'high twist' in nature. We believe our broad range of fabrics will sell very well in the Indian market this financial year," Nishank Patel, marketing manager of Dinesh Mills told Fibre2Fashion.
Dinesh Mills is a pioneer of manufacturing paper machine clothing in India. It has been in the field for more than four decades. "In India, the market for felts is around Rs 120 crore and hence we roughly cover 45 per cent of the Indian market. We have also expanded aggressively in the export market. We have a very good reputation in this market as we have been manufacturing felts for the past 50 years. With regards to sustainability, we have efficient European machinery that manufactures high end felts, while consuming lower electricity than our competitors. We have a very high capex in this department as our aim is to deliver the best quality possible in a sustainable way," said Patel. (RR)
