CFDA selects KWI as official retail management platform

KWI, the pioneer and developer of the Cloud 9 Retail Technology Platform, was recently selected by the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), as its official retail merchandise management and POS solution.

As such, members can benefit from KWI's entire solution including mobile point of sale, merchandising, clienteling, CRM, and loss prevention.

The partnership between KWI and the CFDA will launch with Retail Lab, a CFDA and Cadillac initiative created to empower American designers who one day aspire to open their own retail store. Ten designers will be given an opportunity to learn all aspects associated with owning and operating a retail space. Along with gaining valuable insight into KWI's entire platform, the designers will also receive mentoring, guidance and support from fashion industry experts, including KWI's founder and CEO, Sam Kliger.

As part of the collaboration, KWI will also become a member of the CFDA's Strategic Partnerships Group (SPG), a community of high profile businesses both in the fashion industry and outside. The purpose of the SPG is to create strategic access, value, and opportunity for new business development, with the shared vision of supporting CFDA members and their businesses.
