Business performance management software leader Hyperion Solutions Corporation announced that PUMA, a lifestyle company, is using Hyperion to help drive its organization towards increased flexibility and efficiency as it enters its new development phase with the focus on category expansion, regional expansion and non-PUMA brand expansion.
For the past five years, PUMA has used Hyperion software to manage reporting and consolidation for its steadily increasing number of subsidiaries (currently around 50), leveraging the solution's flexibility and adaptability to meet the company's aggressive goals during that time. PUMA now faces another phase of significant growth within its existing subsidiaries and through acquisitions and needs even greater flexibility and agility to accommodate increased reporting requirements.
To manage its expanded reporting requirements, PUMA has selected Hyperion System 9, the industry's most comprehensive performance management solution and the first to integrate financial management applications with a BI platform into a modular system that will adapt to any business need.
“PUMA is committed to maintaining a flexible and efficient organization that can adapt to the dramatic operational changes that inevitably go hand in hand with growth,” said Matthias Gerngross, senior group head, international controlling for PUMA. “The Web-based, centralized access to all of the applications that Hyperion offers to our subsidiaries willbe a significant factor in helping us meet the increasing reporting demand that will accompany our new strategic phase of growth.” The company anticipates having as many as 90 Hyperion users.
