Yarn joining devices producer Mesdan SpA offers a complete range of equipment for testing technical textiles in compliance with major international textile standards including EN388 which the majority of manufacturers and textile institutes refer to.

Particularly, EN388 requests the followings tests which can be all performed by means of MESDAN-LAB instruments:

-resistance to abrasion by means of MARTIDALE

-resistance to cutting by means of GLOVE TESTER

-resistance to tear by means of double column strength tester TENSOLAB 1000/3000 daN

-resistance to perforation by means of TENSOLAB 1000/3000 daN fitted with suitable accessories

EN 388 also requires prior sample conditioning that can be easily obtained by means of our cabinet CLIMATEST.
