Back by popular demand Epicor Software Corporation, a global leader in business software solutions for manufacturing, distribution, retail and services organizations, will give away build-a-bear smallfrys in exchange for a $10 donation to benefit the Retail Orphan Initiative (RetailROI) during the 2014 National Retail Federation (NRF) show at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City, January 13-14.

RetailROI, celebrating its 5th year in operation, works to raise awareness of the more than 400 million at risk and orphaned children worldwide by providing real solutions to help improve their lives. Every dollar raised at the Epicor booth (#3501) will go directly to computer lab upgrades, educational programs, and fixing the roof at The Master's Home of Champions orphanage and school in the Rehab location in Liberia.

"During the NRF show in 2013, Epicor raised more than $10,000 for RetailROI programs," said Diane Cerulli, director of retail marketing for Epicor. "This year with Epicor's sponsorship of SuperSaturday and booth donations with build-a-bear smallfrys, we anticipate donating over $25,000 to RetailROI. The impact of this organization is life-changing, I know firsthand through a trip to Liberia that I attended with RetailROI in 2012 -- this foundation is positively improving the lives of these children forever and Epicor is proud to be involved in this opportunity."

"It only takes one person to make a difference for children in need," said Bishop Emmanuel Jones, director of The Master's Home of Champions Rehab and Marshall orphanages and schools in Liberia. "The donations we received from RetailROI in 2013 made an enormous impact on the lives of our children. You can see now that the kids are full of life and full of hope for the future. We much appreciate the continued support Epicor, RetailROI, and Lifesong for Orphans gives us to help make a difference in these kids' lives."

RetailROI is a charitable foundation under the umbrella of the Giving Back Fund. It works to fund and bring awareness to the enormous needs of the orphans worldwide, to encourage other companies (retailers, vendors, and manufacturers) to create internal programs to support mentoring, adoptions and foster parenting and to create avenues for volunteers to get involved. In addition, RetailROI seeks to provide opportunities to leverage their core strengths and abilities to help other charities in need in their local communities.

"During these five years of operation, RetailROI has impacted the lives of over 142,000 vulnerable and orphaned children worldwide," said Greg Buzek, president of IHL Group and donor trustee for RetailROI. "Through partnerships like that of Epicor and many other vendors, we have raised significant funds to support education, nutritious meals, clean water projects, medical care, and more to children in the U.S. and around the world."

In addition to donating at NRF Epicor booth 3501, retailers may also contribute donations and take home a build-a-bear smallfrys furry friend at RetailROI's annual SuperSaturday Analyst Day, which will take place Saturday, January 11 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the PwC Auditorium in New York City.
