Soft goods industry to scale new heights through strategic use of IT

Indian soft goods industry is poised for a big leap and strategic use of information technology will be its precursor.
Highlighting its role for soft goods industry, a defining and definitive event "Collaborative Partnerships between Retailers/Brands and Manufacturers/Subcontractors in the Soft Goods industry through strategic use of IT" is being organized in Tirupur.
The symposium will be held on the 17th of August at Tirupur.
IT major from India, REACH Technologies, Tirupur Exporters' Association (TEA) and global software solutions provider Microsoft and chip maker Intel have co-sponsored the event.
Among the esteemed speakers will be Mr. A. Sakthivel, President, Tirupur Exporters' Association and Mr. Periasamy, Deputy Director, Textiles Committee.
Representatives from Microsoft and Intel are also expected to make their presentations at the symposium.
