Personal care retailer L'Occitane to implement PSC & Adonix's GX warehouse solutions

The PSC Falcon family of mobile terminals includes a range of devices designed for warehouse, distribution center, manufacturing, and retail in-store applications. PSC Falcon mobile computers were selected because of their durability, quality, reliability, flexibility, and strong technical support. Another key factor in the selection was PSC's reputation as an established and renowned international manufacturer of state-of-the-art mobile technology.

L'Occitane is Adonix' first North American client to implement its Geode GX warehouse management system. Geode GX increases warehouse efficiency – particularly in radio frequency-directed pick/pack operations – so that goods and critical shipment/inventory information flow efficiently and economically throughout its diverse network of distribution channels. With plans to open additional stores in 2005 – in addition to growth in mail order, wholesale and Webstore channels - L'Occitane implemented Geode GX to help reduce costs and support their continued expansion and growth.

Adonix Geode GX combines performance, flexibility and user-friendliness into a powerful, yet affordable warehouse management system. It is enterprise-configurable and features multi-site, multi-workflow and complete automation capabilities (such as conveyors, AS/RS, carousels and sorting equipment). Its open design orientation makes it easy to fit into most operating environments including support for industry-standard Windows and Unix operating systems as well as SQL Server and Oracle databases. Its intuitive user-interface is available both on the Internet and in traditional client/server mode.
