At the stands of the approximately 70 strictly selected exhibitors, specialist knowledge was shared, ordered, and appointments fixed. Traders searched specifically for novelties and stories around the product. Details such as music & food, gadgets, high-quality furniture, and a well-conceived lighting and spatial concept underlined the value of Selvedge Run and put the brands in the spotlight.
Remarkable again was the strong presence of international buyers and the exceptional exclusivity of the shops. Representatives of shops such as VMC from Zurich, Berkeley Supply from Denver Colorado, Standard & Strange from Oakland CA, Denim Heads from Prague, Rivet & Hide from London, Pickings and Parry and Godspeed from Melbourne and Pronto from Thailand were spotted.
“In conclusion, we can say that the new concept is working for us. The first day was a bit better than the second one. The customers we invited have all come. The new area has a great light, the design is successful and overall there is a very pleasant atmosphere here,” Tobias Börner, company spokesman, Heinrich Dinkelacker said.
“We came here with a positive commitment and that has been fulfilled, we have been doing well all day and talking about good and qualitative customers in terms of quality and quantity.
