Asian benzene prices surge due to limited availability

Benzene prices soared in Asia in the last week due to limited product availability in the market.

 

In Korea, average prices improved by US$ 65/ton and assessed at US$ 915/ton in the last week, an increase of 7.65 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.

 

In Japan, average prices went up by US$ 65/ton to US$ 920/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, after a rise of 7.60 per cent.

 

In India, average prices advanced by US$ 65/ton and quoted at US$ 925/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, a growth of 7.56 per cent.
