Ethylene prices soared in Asia in the last week ended Sept 25 from gain in upstream and downstream product prices in the region.

In Japan, average prices mounted by US$ 35/ton and were assessed at US$ 805/ton in the last week, up 4.55 per cent as against its prior week.
In SE Asia, average prices expanded by US$ 45/ton and were spotted at US$ 845/ton in the last week, an increase of 5.62 per cent vis-à-vis its earlier week.
In NE Asia, average prices surged by US$ 40/ton or 4.82 per cent from its previous week and were offered at US$ 870/ton in the last week.
