Asian ethylene up last week from upstream price gains

Ethylene prices went up in Asia in the last week ended Nov 27 from gain in upstream energy prices in the region.

In Korea, average prices rose by US$ 10/ton or 0.99 per cent and were quoted at US$ 1020/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.

In Japan, average prices grew by US$ 10/ton and were assessed at US$ 1010/ton in the last week, up 1.00 per cent as against its prior week.

In NE Asia, average prices drove up by US$ 10/ton and were spotted at US$ 1050/ton in the last week, an increase of 0.96 per cent vis-à-vis its earlier week.
