Benzene prices surged in Europe in the last week due to strong buying in the region.
In Europe, average prices scaled up to US$ 695/ton in the last week, rise of US$ 35/ton from US$ 660/ton in the previous week.
In the US, average prices soared to US$ 305/ton in the last week from US$ 250/ton in the previous week due to higher upstream energy values in the region.
