Benzene prices surge in US past week

Benzene prices stepped up in US in the last week owing to bullish upstream energy values in the region.
In US, average prices increased sharply by 25 cents/gallon and quoted at 295 cents/gallon, a lift of 9.26 per cent as compared to previous week.
Meanwhile in Europe, average prices soared by US$ 25/ton and secured at US$ 805/ton in the last week, a gain of 3.21 per cent as compared to the previous week due to optimistic buying trend in the region.
