Borealis to take naphtha cracker off-stream

Austria-based Borealis is planning to shut its naphtha cracker located in Stenungsund, Sweden, for maintenance turnaround.
 
“We are in the process of taking the naphtha cracker off-stream for maintenance,” a company official told Fibre2Fashion.
 
The cracker, which has an ethylene production capacity of 625,000 tons/year, is expected to remain shut for around six weeks. (RKS)
