Buying interest propels Asian propylene prices last week

Propylene prices increased in all Asian markets in the last week ending November 13, due to lift in buying interest in the region.
 
In China, average prices went up by $5/ton and were assessed at $610/ton in the last week, showing an increase of 0.83 per cent compared to the previous week ending November 6, 2015.
 
In SE Asia, average prices rose by $5/ton to $530/ton in the last week, up 0.95 per cent over the previous week. 
 
In Japan, average prices were up by $5/ton to $570/ton in the last week, registering an increase of 0.88 per cent over the previous week.
 
In Korea, average prices were assessed at US$ 580/ton in the last week, up $5/ton or 0.87 per cent compared to the previous week. 
 
In India, too, average prices shot up by $5/ton or 0.95 per cent to $530/ton in the last week. (RKS)
