Class is celebrating ten years of working to advance smart responsible values into fashion, product and business. The celebration coincides with Premiere Vision’s decision to platform these issues at this most important fair for fashion textiles, showcasing materials and knowledge exchange in this great, dedicated, Smart Square zone at the fair.

At the three-day fair beginning from September 19, Class will share some of its latest smart solutions and initiatives together with smart stories launched by its partners exhibiting at the fair including Roica, Cupro, Ecotec and Re.Verso.

Roica is the premium stretch yarn from Asahi Kasei, the Class partner. This premium stretch fibre has a range of smart functions to suit modern wardrobe needs and can be used for making comfortable fabrics for sportswear, intimate wear, fashion apparel and business wear. Cupo is the second unique material from Asahi Kasei, and is a matchless, high tech natural material, for the modern wardrobe. Ecotec by Class partner Marchi & Fildi is yarn with true circular economy credentials, made from coloured pre-consumer cotton textile off-cuts. Re.Verso by A. Stelloni by Mapel is another circular economy product range.

Tintex Texteis is the latest partner of Class, as a fabric maker is aligned to the Class vision for more responsible products and smart innovation. Tintex, based in the creative Porto region of Portugal, has become a leading contemporary fabrics innovator of naturally advanced, smart and sustainably crafted jersey fabrics, specialising in hi-tech natural materials with unique specialised finishing made to activate contemporary fashion, lingerie & sportswear, where trust, values and skills are delivered through creativity to customers looking to make naturally better choices.

Leading the way since 2007, Class is a unique multi-platform hub, based in Milan that helps integrate a new generation of smart responsible values into fashion, product and business. Class supports businesses in their journey to be more competitive and responsibly innovative by refining smart values and speaking more fluently to the new, contemporary consumer. Class offers custom tailored educational programs and specific consultancy services dedicated to develop, market and communicate smart product innovation. (RR)
