The fourth edition of Denimsandjeans.com Bangladesh, scheduled to be held on October 7 and 8, at Hotel Radisson, Dhaka has selected ‘Denim Playground’ as its theme.

“Denim fabric manufacturers from many countries are participating at the show and will showing their best fabrics to visitors who travel long distances to visit the show,” a press release from the organiser stated.

According to the organiser, Denim Playground is where denim artists of the world will play and let loose their imaginations on this ever changing canvas of the most versatile fabric.

“Starting as workwear, the fabric is now facing the ‘Athleisure’ threat’, but it is only in challenge that denim has thrived,” they said.

“Continuous challenge raises the bar for this versatile fabric and pushes denim players to jump notches above, as athletes do and the more they stretch themselves, the denim evolves even more,” the organisers added.

The October 2015 show will also have some interesting denim events including denim washing seminars and presentations by some of the renowned experts from around the world.

The seminars and panel discussions shall focus on eco-sustainability and profitability in denim washing and the latest trends in denim washing in Europe.

In the last show held in March 2015, the show was visited by the Godfather of Denim, Adriano Goldschmied besides renowned denim consultant, Piero Turk.

The show in March also witnessed an event titled ‘Fashionim’ which was sponsored by three of its exhibitors. (AR)
