DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOOR breaks record in space booking

According to organisers of DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOOR 2016, the show will break previous records in booked exhibiting space and online visitors’ pre-registration numbers.
“The leading international flooring show in Asia-Pacific is receiving a positive response from both ends of the flooring market, exhibitors and professional visitors,” they said in a press release.
More than 1,300 exhibitors are expected to participate in the 18th edition of the show, while in terms of visitors a considerable increase is expected according to the show’s online pre-registration system.
“As the most popular trade show for the flooring industry in Asia-Pacific, DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOOR 2016 is the perfect platform for flooring exhibitors and visitors alike,” David Zhong, president of VNU Exhibitions Asia Ltd said.
He added that this fact is highly strengthened by its resonance in the flooring market and the constantly increasing number of industry role players’ interest in attending the show.
“DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOOR 2016 is the ideal place for flooring manufacturers to showcase their innovations and the perfect platform for buyers to source flooring products,” the organisers added.
Hornbach, one of Europe’s largest operators of DIY stores and garden centres and a regular visitor of the show stated that is looking forward to finding a conclusion of their ordering plans for 2016 during the show.
Germany based DIY mogul, that has recently opened their first Hong Kong import handling office, will be using the trade show once more as a platform to finalise their business dealings in Asia.
“We are interested in different flooring products such as LVT, Laminate, Parquet, Bamboo, WPC, Bamboo decking, etc.,” Klaus Götz, chief merchandiser of Hornbach Asia Ltd said.
“And we are using this chance to meet all the possible suppliers and review samples all in one place,” Gotz informed.
“Regarding the origin of the sources, we have an open mind for all possibilities and countries worldwide and we expect to be able to meet suppliers of different product ranges,” he too added. (AR)
