Groz-Beckert's sewing needle SAN 5.2
Groz-Beckert will be participating in the trade fairs Texprocess Americas and Techtextil North America from 3 to 5 May in Atlanta, Georgia, according to a company press release.

The company will present its products in the sewing and felting areas. Special application needle SAN 5.2 will be the highlight in its sewing product area. The SAN 5.2 is ideal for sewing of technical textiles and comes with new features like double groove in the point area, the reinforced blade, and larger eye. The needle provides higher productivity in the sewing process, protection of the sewing material, and a uniform seam appearance.

A service highlight of the sewing sector is the Customer Portal with integrated online shop. The online platform offers a knowledge database which provides details about the sewing products and animations of stitch formation types. The processing status of orders and shipments can be checked and invoices or order confirmations can be viewed with this platform.

Another service innovation patented by Groz-Beckert is the Ideal Needle Handling (INH) process. It allows a trouble-free and time-saving handling of broken and damaged sewing machine needles. The INH quality management helps to meet different specifications of brand owners in a uniform procedure.

Under its felting product area, the company will present special needle solutions for different applications of the nonwovens industry. As the Groz-Beckert range of products includes needle types with a variety of barb sizes, barb shapes, working part gauges and working part cross-sections, the right needle can be offered for the most different applications.

Groz-Beckert is the world's leading provider of industrial machine needles, precision parts and fine tools as well as systems and services for the production and joining of textile fabrics. (HO)
