Kornit Digital appoints new CTO as Ben-Zur retires

Kornit Digital, an Israel-based provider of digital textile printing solutions, recently announced the appointment of Nuriel Amir as the new chief technology officer (CTO) and the retirement of Ofer Ben-Zur, founder of Kornit Digital, as the CTO of the company.

Amir will join Kornit as CTO effective July 1, 2016. Ben-Zur will continue to serve on Kornit's board of directors. He will also remain with the company in a consulting capacity for at least the next six months to oversee a transition of responsibilities.

Prior to this, Amir was the technology director at KLA Tencor and has also served as director of research and development, leading the development and transfer to production of 45mm NOR technology at Numonyx.

Ben-Zur said, “I look forward to contributing to the company's success through a thoughtful transition and as a director on the company's board. Our tireless work over the past several years has helped to build a world class research and development team capable of expanding Kornit's product and technology offerings in order to take advantage of the continued growth of our sector.”
