Kornit Digital, a leader in digital textile printing technology, is set to partake in the CITPE (China International Textile Digital Printing Technology expo), a leading event focusing on digital printing systems and materials for digital textile printing, in the Poly World Trade Centre, Pazhou, Guangzhou, from May 24 to 26, 2017, in booth #T003.

Visitors to Kornit’s booth will experience live demos of two of the company’s highly successful products: the waterless single- step, roll-to- roll textile printing system Kornit Allegro, as well as the six-colour- plus-white Kornit Storm Hexa, a market leading direct-to- garment printing system for mid-sized businesses. The Kornit Storm Hexa will be integrated with a web-to-print workflow delivered by UK-based web-to-print specialist Custom Gateway to demonstrate an ecosystem of workflow and job management solutions.

The highlight of the booth, Kornit’s Allegro, is the only true digital solution for roll-to-roll textile printing which eliminates the need for pre- and post-treatment for multiple fabrics, all within a seven metres integrated production line. The Allegro eliminates the entry barrier to digital fabric printing, making it a solution of choice for businesses relying on multiple short runs and extremely short turn time. Through its simple operation, the 1.8 metres wide system enables the development of new business models that cater for the strong trends of mass customisation and personalisation of textile in fashion and home decor. The system has been in high demand around the globe recently, with more than 20 installations worldwide. It offers amazing print quality, a vivid and wide colour gamut, excellent colour fastness and hand feel, a fully sustainable and safe process, and is Oeko-Tex 100 certified and GOTS pre-approved.

Another CITPE attraction will be the Kornit Storm Hexa. Like all recent Storm configurations, it has been equipped with state-of- the-art technology, leading to unparalleled print quality and reliability, as well as significantly reduced cost per print over previous versions of the Storm. Features include a recirculating ink system, an integrated humidifier, a quick pallet replacement mechanism, and more.

At CITPE, the Kornit Storm Hexa will connect with Custom Gateway’s end-to-end workflow platform which covers the entire supply chain, from website and personalisation front-end through automated production and printing to packaging and shipping.

All Kornit’s systems are based on the company’s unique NeoPigment printing process. Kornit’s own water-based inks work on a variety of fibres (natural, man-made and blends) and allow for inline-pretreatment. Kornit’s direct-to- garment inks are Oeko-Tex 100 certified and GOTS pre-approved. (GK)
