Propylene prices in the Far East region, which have propelled upwards since the last few weeks, continued their march, when compared with prices quoted on the previous Wednesday. FOB South Korea marched up from US $990-992 per ton to $1020-1022 per ton.
Prices of Propylene (polymerization level), FD Northwest Europe and CIF Northwest, which had stayed stable in the previous week, moved substantially on July 21 from €660-670 per metric ton and €650-660 per metric ton to €740-750 per metric ton and €730-740 per metric ton respectively.
Propylene prices in the US markets, which had rebounded on the previous Wednesday, this week, though fell back marginally from US cent 36.380-36.630 per lb to US cent 36.255-36.505 per lb on July 21.
