PX & ethylene prices stable, polyester yarn unchanged

Paraxylene Asian market remained stable at around US$ 1440/ton. In S E Asian region, price was quoted in between US$ 1435/ton and US$ 1445/ton. In the F E Asian market, price hovered in the range of US$ 1435/ton to US$ 1445/ton. In Chinese market, price went down to US$ 1440/ton.

In S E Asia, sentiments in PTA market remained stable at US$ 1190/ton. In Chinese market, PTA trading price hovered around RMB 9445/ton but offer price hovered in between RMB 9435/ton to RMB 9450/ton. In Asian market, PTA price remained range bound in between US$ 1190/ton to US$ 1195/ton. Price is expected to rebound from this level.

Ethylene price remained stable at US$ 1085/ton in S E Asian market. In F E Asian market price was in the range of US$ 1080/ton to US$ 1090/ton. In European international and domestic market, price remained declined to around US$ 1450/ton and € 1090/ton, respectively.

MEG market remained weak in S E Asian region; price hovered mainly in the range of US$ 1240/ton to US$ 1250/ton. In Indian markets, price of MEG rose to around US$ 1235/ton to US$ 1250/ton and in Chinese market, MEG price stood in the range of RMB 9450/ton to RMB 9500/ton.

BGPET Chips price remained stable in S E Asian region and was in between US$ 1665/ton to US$ 1675/ton. In F E Asian markets, selling offers were around US$ 1650/ton for exportable goods. In Chinese market BG PET Chip was at RMB 12300/ton.

FGPET Chips prices in Korean markets remained stable around US$ 1555/ton to US$ 1575/ton and in Indian market; it was assessed in the range of US$ 1575/ton to US$ 1595/ton. In Chinese market FG PET Chip was at RMB 11900/ton to RMB 12050/ton.

PSF price remained range bound in Chinese market; offers hovered around US$ 1900/ton to US$ 1910/ton. In S E Asian market PSF offers were around US$ 1910/ton. In Chinese domestic market PSF offers were around RMB 13150/ton.

Polyester yarn markets in Chinese domestic market remain unchanged. Offers for FDY and POY were at RMB 13900/ton and RMB 14350/ton respectively. Selling offers for DTY was around RMB 15950/ton. In export market, offers for POY, FDY and DTY were respectively at US$ 1930/ton, 1850/ton and US$ 2135/ton.
