PX, MEG & PSF prices dip, ethylene up

Paraxylene Asian market went down to around US$ 1365/ton. In S E Asian region, price was quoted in between US$ 1365/ton and US$ 1370/ton. In the F E Asian market, price hovered in the range of US$ 1370/ton to US$ 1475/ton. In Chinese market, price went down to US$ 1370/ton.

In S E Asia, sentiments in PTA market were firm at US$ 1145/ton. In Chinese market, PTA trading price hovered around RMB 9050/ton but offer price hovered in between RMB 9050/ton to RMB 9100/ton. In Asian market, PTA price remained range bound in between US$ 1145/ton to US$ 1150/ton.

Ethylene price went up to US$ 1125/ton in S E Asian market. In F E Asian market, price was in the range of US$ 1120/ton to US$ 1125/ton. In European international and domestic market, price remained stable around US$ 1355/ton and € 890/ton, respectively. In U.S.A market, selling offer for ethylene was in the range of 55.25 cents/pound to 55.35 cents/pound for July delivery.

MEG markets declined in S E Asian region and price hovered mainly in the range of US$ 1225/ton to US$ 1230/ton. In Indian markets, price of MEG rose to around US$ 1220/ton to US$ 1235/ton and in Chinese market, MEG price stood in the range of RMB 9375/ton to RMB 9425/ton.

BGPET Chips price remained stable in S E Asian region and price was between US$ 1625/ton to US$ 1635/ton. In F E Asian markets, selling offers were around US$ 1620/ton for exportable goods. In Chinese market BG PET Chip was at RMB 12100/ton.

FGPET Chips prices in Korean markets remained stable around US$ 1540/ton to US$ 1560/ton and in Indian market; it was assessed in the range of US$ 1570/ton to US$ 1590/ton. In Chinese market FG PET Chip was at RMB 11750/ton to RMB 11850/ton.

PSF price declined in global market; offers hovered around US$ 1840/ton to US$ 1850/ton. In S E Asian market PSF offers were around US$ 1840/ton. In Chinese domestic market, PSF offers declined to RMB 12650/ton.

Polyester yarn prices in Chinese domestic market were stable. Offers for FDY and POY were at RMB 13700/ton and RMB 13900/ton respectively. Selling offers for DTY was around RMB 15800/ton. In export market offers for POY, FDY and DTY was respectively at US$ 1870/ton, 1825/ton and US$ 2120/ton.
