Cotton Australia has released details of the topics for sessions during this year's Cotton Collective to be held on Wednesday 10 August at the Crossing Theatre in Narrabri.
The first session during the Cotton Collective will tackle the issue of water, covering the draft Murray Darling Basin Plan and the House of Representatives Inquiry, along with a water dedicated Q&A session to be chaired by Cotton Australia's Michael Murray.
Session 2 will examine the future Biotechnology pipeline with a global review of biotechnology, followed by product pipeline presentations from biotechnology providers all wrapped up with a facilitated discussion session.
A short session on the threat posed by Bunchy Top will precede lunch and following the break, concurrent sessions through the afternoon will include Coal Seam Gas/Mining, Carbon Tax and Carbon Farming, Roundbale Picking, Labour/HR and a concurrent water research session in the Crossing Theatre Gallery.
