China's cotton imports reached 120,000 tons in June, down 57,000 tons, or 32.3 percent, year on year, according to Customs statistics.
China's total cotton imports registered 1.326 million tons from January to June, down 14 percent year on year.
As of June, China's total cotton imports fetched 2.212 million tons in 2010 cotton year (September 2010-August 2011), an increase of 5.6 percent year on year.
