Japanese manmade fibre output marginally up in June

Japanese output of manmade fibres rose marginally in June over the previous month.
As per data compiled by the Japan Chemical Fibers Association, manmade fibre production in June grew to 86,567 tons, up just 2.1 percent over May.
Of this synthetic fibre production increased to 71,940 tons, a rise of 2.5 percent.
Output of nylon filament ascended to 7,331 tons, up 1.8 percent, acrylic staple fibre augmented to 13,123 tons, up 6.7 percent and polyester staple fibre production reached 13,040 tons, a growth of 1.6 percent.
However, production of polyester filament yarn fell 8.2% to 14,976 tons.
