Spot market conditions for PTA imports softened in North China on Friday. There was hardly any buying interest in the market as cargo holders made offers at prices around 9500-9550 Yuan/ton. In response, buyers bid for prices around 9400-9450 Yuan/ton, and finally negotiated for around 9420-9450 Yuan/ton. But on the whole, the trading atmosphere presented a deserted look with very few actual negotiations taking place.
