PCS aromatics plant No-2 shut down for maintenance

The number -2 aromatics plant operated by Petrochemical Corporation (Singapore) has been taken off-stream and will be started by end-August.
A company official told fibre2fashion that the number - 2 BTX plant was shut down for maintenance on July 15 and is expected to restart either in the third or fourth week of August.
The BTX plant has a benzene production capacity of 170,000 tons per annum and xylene production capacity of 63,000 tons per year.
