Benzene market expected to be stable in short term

In the Chinese domestic benzene market, price ranged between 8,400-8,450 Yuan / ton in East China, stood at 8,300-8,500 Yuan / ton in South China and 8,300-8,400 Yuan / ton in North China on Wednesday.
Capacity utilization of some downstream products showed underutilisation as a few downstream styrene plants were under maintenance.
Traders were reluctant to sell at low cost. Market conditions are expected to be stable in the short term.
The East Sales Branch under Sinopec quoted benzene price at 8,400 Yuan / ton.
