Textile Dyestuff and Chemical Leaders Forum, 25 - 26 September 2011
Part of ITMA's 60th anniversary celebrations held over two power-packed half-day sessions, the Forum will facilitate dialogue among major dye and chemical manufacturers, textile and garment processing professionals, label owners, retailer chains around the world and standards boards. Confirmed speakers include representatives from Clariant, Dystar, Esquire Knit Composite, Huntsman, Oeko-Tex Association, Rhodia Poliamida e Especialidades and more.

IFAI Advanced Textiles Europe 2011, 26 – 27 September 2011
Leading experts from around the world will gather in Barcelona at the fourth Industrial Fabrics Association International (IFAI) Advanced Textiles Europe conference. Colocated with ITMA 2011, this unique conference is designed to unveil valuable insights on new research and development, with a balance of actual application-based use. Each session is designed to spark creative thinking for businesses looking for ways to gain a competitive edge. Mr Greggory Crouch, U.S. Consul General Barcelona, will give the Welcome Address in the opening session on Market Needs.

Go online to beat the onsite queues
Visitors are encouraged to purchase their ITMA 2011 badge online now to avoid the long queues at the registration areas. The rates are 85 euros for an 8-day badge and 50 euros for a 1-day badge. Onsite rates are 115 euros for an 8-day badge and 75 euros for a 1-day badge.

Visitors can expect to source the entire textile and garment making value chain, with the latest technologies, products and service, spread over 200,000 square metres of the Gran Via fairgrounds.

As of August, over 1,300 exhibitors from 45 countries have applied to take part in the show. For the first time, visitors can also source fibre and yarn. The garment technology segment also gets a higher profile with a dedicated chapter on garment making technologies and machinery.

A process show, ITMA 2011 will feature exhibits ranging from textile spinning, web formation, winding and texturing, weaving, knitting and hosiery, embroidery and braiding, finishing, dyestuffs and chemicals, software, logistics, plant operations, recycling and education to garment making and textile processing.

ITMA 2011 is owned by CEMATEX, the European Committee of Textile Machinery Manufacturers, and organised by MP International Pte Ltd. It will be held at Fira de Barcelona Gran Via from 22 to 29 September. Opening hours are from 1000 hours to 1900 hours.
