China's textile and apparel exports registered US $163.163 billion in the first eight months of the current year, an increase of 26 percent year on year.
Of which, Chinese textile exports grew 27 percent year on year and exports of clothing and accessories increased by 25 percent year on year.
The latest data from the Chinese General Administration of Customs reveals that exports of textiles and apparels reached US $25.451 billion in August, down 2.51 percent compared with July, but an increase of 26 percent year on year.
Among them, textile exports were down 3.90 percent from the previous month, exports of clothing and accessories were down 1.19 percent from the previous month.
