A six-member All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA) team called on Tajikistan President Imam Ali Rehman on Tuesday.
The delegation headed by APTMA Central Chairman Mohsin Aziz visited Tajikistan on invitation of Tajik Government.
Possibility of joint ventures between textile entrepreneurs from Tajikistan and Pakistan, enhancing mutual trade between the two countries, prospects of investing in cotton import from Tajikistan and extending expert assistance for development of Tajikistan textile industry were discussed at the meeting.
Besides Mr. Aziz, other APTMA officials who formed a part of the delegation were Ex-Chairman Gohar Ejaz, Central Region Vice Chairman Seth Akber, Punjab Region Chairman Ahsan Bashir, Sindh Balochistan Region Chairman Yasiin Siddik and Executive Committee member Sohail.
